The Internet has become my only lifeline to the outside world. We no longer get a newspaper. We do not have a television. We don't even have a landline telephone. Everything in the Punkinhouse is so 21st century.
The downside of this being that we are at the mercy of our Internet provider. So when the modem stopped working correctly last Friday, we spent the weekend with only intermittent service. In fact it's touch-and-go that I'll even get this posted.
The good news is that the new modem is scheduled to arrive today.
