It's foreign to me

Hey, the final presidential debate was last night. I learned that Mitt Romney thinks that Syria is Iran's route to the sea. Perhaps someone who wants to be President of the United States and declares that Iran (after Russia and China) is our biggest enemy should know that Iran already has a route to the sea, in that it TOUCHES the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, and the Arabian Sea, not to mention the Caspian Sea to the North.
