So, I don't know if you noticed or not, but I didn't put up a Friday Book Blog. Mostly because after the death on Wednesday, and all my free time at my friend's house, I didn't get more than one book read. It didn't seem fair to "pick" it since it had no opponents.
Things are still crazy. Wake, funeral, burial. The funeral and burial are today. Why is it a wake is the place where you always see people you haven't seen for years? We should have un-wakes, like the Mad Hatter's un-birthdays, so we can celebrate with each other instead of exclaiming that the last time we saw Pete was at Jack's funeral.
