I'm not done with it yet, but this week's top pick is definitely Jonas Jonasson's The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared.
As you can imagine, it is quirky, strange and oddly compelling. I want to meet Allan Karlsson who, on his 100th birthday walks away from the Old Folks home to begin a final adventure in what we learn was a very adventurous life.
And who couldn't love a book that begins with a quote from the author's grandfather: "Those who say only the truth, they're not worth listening to."
