It's official. King Richard the Third, Shakespeare's ultimate historical villain, alleged murderer of the poor Princes in the Tower, much-maligned hunchback king of England was buried under a parking lot.
Well, at the time he was buried, of course, it wasn't a parking lot. (There wasn't a big need for parking lots in 1485.)
It must be cool to live in a country that has so much history, they just pave over it.
