There is something extra-glorious about a sunny and warm late-autumn day. Perhaps in knowing that the snow will be flying soon, we revel in the cloudless blue skies.
We are equally enthralled on sunny spring days, but the feeling isn't the same. Spring is all anticipation while autumn is urgency. "Hurry!" the leaves whisper. "We'll be gone soon."
I'm just glad that this year, at least one of those sun-drenched days was on a Saturday.
