Priorities

When my mom was little, her father, who was active in the Norwegian Resistance during WWII, told her that she was going to get the "best birthday present ever" for her 8th birthday.

May 7, 1945 – World War II: General Alfred Jodl signs unconditional surrender terms at Reims, France, ending Germany's participation in the war.

It runs through your genes. What a terrific grandfather you had and what a wonderful memory for your mom.
