We drove out to the East side (Cleveland Heights, specifically) for a special dinner tonight and took Superior from MLK. This is not the scenic route. Sadly, it goes through some decidedly bad neighborhoods.
And as the Punkinhead noted during the drive, as a Clevelander, as an American, it's embarrassing that we allow -in most cases, force- our fellow human beings to live in squalor. There is literally no excuse for our apathy. We should be ashamed of ourselves, America.
