"Bush: ‘All options’ possible in dealing with Iran"
"Bush Says Failure in Iraq 'Not an Option'"
It appears that our mighty "Decider" is looking at options. So if failure in Iraq is not an option and all options are open for dealing with Iran, does that mean that failure is one of those options?
Options such as "tactical nuclear bombing" (or nucular, as Dubya would have it) are as fanatical as the perceived fanaticism of Iranian President Ahmadinejad. So far, it seems, the option our administration is leaning toward is goading. And so far, while I'm by no means supportive of the idea of Iran with nuclear weapons, President Ahmadinejad is showing marked restraint in replying to our government's accusations of terrorism and holy war. More restraint than President Bush has shown in any of his actions to date in the Middle East. Whatever options Washington pursues, I know that any use of nuclear weapons -tactical or otherwise- would most certainly constitute failure.
