You finally got some sense! By the way, I have ALL R.Pilcher's books, and they are all well worth reading. Like in Shell Seekers, you get the feeling that you know the characters after a while. On a similar note, have you read any of Maeve Binchy's books (Evening Class, Purple Bus, Circle of Friends, etc)? They are of the same genre and equally enjoyable; I have all of hers also.
