Sure scientists are all "gobsmacked" about the octopus that was discovered actually using tools. (In his --her?-- case, a pair of coconut shell halves to construct a shelter.) But really, we've known octopi are totally cool for years!
(I know the plural is "octopuses," but "octopi" is more fun. And please disregard the totally lame narrator.)
As Jim would say, "I, for one, welcome our new eight-legged overlords."
