You can't teach old people not to be racist. You can just make it uncomfortable enough for them that when they are, they'll shut up about it and not pass that shit on to the next generation in the hopes that each succeeding generation is less bigoted and more tolerant so that by the time my great-grandchildren come along, we might actually live in a society that is post-racial.
Until that time, we have rich old white men to remind us that we're not there yet.
